My creative journey from 2006..

Summer 2006

The start of my journey in Textiles, I kicked things off at Loughborough University with a BA in Textile Design, graduating with a 1st Class degree in 2009.

Summer 2007

I got my first taste of the industry as an intern in the buying department at EAST. This opportunity came after a year of working as a sales advisor in-store while I was still a student.

Summer 2008

I stepped into the world of Alexander McQueen for an intensive 3-month internship. I specialised in fashion print and embroidery for the SS09 ‘Darwin’ collection. It was a whirlwind of creativity and teamwork!

May 2009

I was thrilled to be shortlisted to 3 for the British Textile Design Awards, ‘Young Textile Designer of the Year 2009’, in collaboration with Drapers Records, The Clothes Show London, and New Look. Presented by Louise Roe, presenter, founder of Sharland London and influencer.

Summer 2009

I was selected as one of 9 Print students to study at the prestigious Royal College of Art, earning a Master’s in Printed Textile Design (2009–2011), This is where I fell in love with sustainable and traditional production methods.
