Behind the Seams: Holland Street’s Famous Fans
Share
At Holland Street, emotional design has always been at the heart of everything we do. Our printed silk kaftans and kimonos—crafted with intention, softness, and sensory elegance—have quietly found their way into the wardrobes of discerning women, stylists, and creatives around the world.
One of our earliest and most cherished celebrity moments came when Yukimi Nagano, lead singer of Swedish electronic band Little Dragon, wore an original Holland Street scarf. Her bold, expressive style and soulful presence felt like a perfect match for our brand’s ethos—emotional, artistic, and deeply personal. Known for her elegant, minimalist style, actress January Jones has become a quiet supporter of Holland Street. With several printed silk kaftans and kimonos in her Los Angeles wardrobe, she embodies the kind of woman we design for—confident, intuitive, and drawn to beauty with depth. Mini Diamond, a rising figure in the fashion world, has been spotted in Holland Street designs, adding to our creative cachet. Her bold styling and love for expressive textiles make her a natural fit for our emotionally resonant printed silk kaftans and kimonos.
Before its closure in 2024, Holland Street was proudly stocked at Fenwick Bond Street, placing us firmly in the luxury retail landscape of Mayfair and Chelsea. Our pieces have since found a loyal following among women in these stylish London neighbourhoods—those who value slow fashion, sensory design, and emotional connection. Our designs have appeared in Made in Chelsea, and we’ve hosted pop-ups at Selfridges, bringing our work to a wider audience of fashion lovers and tastemakers. We’ve been photographed by Tom Fraud of Selling Sunset fame, and by Hanna Hillier—whose portfolio includes work with NARS, Normani, Hailey Bieber, Rihanna, Jessica Alba, H.E.R., and Charlotte Tilbury. Their lens has helped capture the emotional depth and elegance of our garments. Celebrity stylist Rachel Holland, known for her work with Fault Magazine, has styled Holland Street pieces, further cementing our place in the world of thoughtful, expressive fashion.
A feature in How to Spend It by the Financial Times marked a turning point for the brand. We still receive orders from readers who discovered us through that article—a testament to the lasting impact of meaningful press. We’ve also been featured in Exclusive Magazine, Phoenix Magazine, Absolutely Kensington, The Sunday Times, and Eluxe Magazine. Collaborations with NUXE Paris have blended our love of sensory design with their commitment to skincare and wellbeing. Holland Street continues to grow through connection, creativity, and care. Whether worn by a musician on stage, a stylist behind the scenes, or a woman at home seeking softness and ritual—our printed silk kaftans and kimonos are designed to be felt, remembered, and loved.
