Pink and Green Should Never Be Seen? Think Again.
They say pink and green should never be seen—but I couldn’t disagree more. Lately, I’ve found myself completely inspired by this bold and unexpected interior trend. Yes, it’s an unusual pairing, but there’s something undeniably elegant and confident about it. It’s playful, fresh, and full of personality—exactly what we need to lift our spirits and our spaces.
Today brought a lovely surprise: I was featured on 2LG Studio’s Instagram story (Jordan Cluroe and Russell Whitehead, partners in both life and design), as part of their curated picks for brightening up your home during lockdown in true pink and green style. Their eye for colour and form is always spot-on, so to be included was a real treat.
The feature included our Park Life Cushion (£95), available at hollandstreet.co. Made from a soft cotton and linen blend, the cushion showcases a hand-drawn textile design by yours truly—Lauren Barfoot of 10 Holland Street. The print was inspired by a peaceful walk in the park, with whimsical details like birds, boats, flowers, and stars woven into the composition. It’s a joyful piece that brings a little nature indoors, and yes—it looks fabulous in pink and green surroundings.

To celebrate this colour combo, I’ve pulled together a few of my favourite references and inspirations that embrace the pink-and-green palette. From vintage interiors to modern art, it’s a scheme that’s braver than it is bashful—and I’m here for it.
So what do you think: Brave or Beautiful? I say both. Scroll down and let the colour therapy begin.
