The SENSE Method was created to help you name it — three words that shape the mood, palette and texture of what you choose to wear or surround yourself with. Because style is not just visual; it’s sensory, intuitive and deeply personal.

Design is deeply personal and subjective. What we choose to wear — and what we bring into our homes — shapes how we feel and how we move through the world. That’s why at Holland Street, I create garments and fabrics that connect with you on a personal level — pieces that elevate comfort, confidence and creativity.

Our moods are expressed through emotional states, and we encourage you to choose three words to describe the feeling you want for an outfit, an event, or even the atmosphere of a room. These decisions help to intuitively guide colour palettes and material choices.

At Holland Street, empathy sits at the heart of every design decision. My approach is rooted in curiosity and the belief that we experience the world through our senses. Translating a client’s emotions, aspirations and essence into pattern is where each project begins. That is why I created the SENSE Method.

My toolkit is built from trade experience, personal history and a lifelong love of textiles. Finding my voice has been a cathartic journey, especially watching ideas grow from nothing into something meaningful. I often ask myself: How will someone feel in a Holland Street piece? The goal is always the same — to help people feel comfortable, confident and seen.

Wellbeing is no longer a trend; it’s a philosophy reshaping design. When human needs come first, design becomes transformative. That is the future Holland Street believes in — and the future it continues to create.
